Our family members (I, husband, and two sons 2 and 5 years old) had seen Tamie over four years for various health issues. I got treated for insomnia (started after the second son was born), palpitation, early perimenopause problems (I am only 35), etc. My youngest son was treated for poison ivy and skin allergies, my oldest son for cold and cough, and my husband for immune boost and stress reduction. Since my family had relocated to San Francisco area last summer, I have been having such a hard time finding the right practitioner for myself and my family. Tamie told me that more than 7,000 acupuncturists / herbalists practice in the state of California compared to only 700 in Massachusetts, so we both thought it would be a piece of cake to find “Tamie’s replacement” in the bay area. Tamie had told me on the day of my last appointment at her Lexington clinic that her style of acupuncture is very different from TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) style of acupuncture most acupuncturists practice. Now I understand it is very true and I miss her treatment so much.
