The following two articles alerted me the other day:
- From “Brain Fog” to Heart Damage, COVID-19’s Lingering Problems Alarm Scientists written by Jennifer Couzin-Frankel (sciencemag.org)
- COVID-19 Can Last for Several Months written by Ed Yong
I thought there are two types of reactions when you get positive for the PCR test. One is the most typical one. IgM (immunoglobulin is spiking for 10 days) you get the typical symptoms and IgG (immunoglobulin G) kicks in to sustain the antibody and you are still fatigued for a while but all other symptoms subside when IgM goes down.
However, according to these two articles, these people the author wrote are sound like patients suffering from CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome). The scary part is many of them got negative for the COVID-19 PCR test because of the lack of high fever and other typical symptoms. They did not fit into the category of COVID-19 virus infection. I wonder how many people out there not counted as COVID-19 victims but living with pain physically and mentally.
The fall of 2020 is approaching. I have been trying to prepare for the second phase of virus infection that might kick in. Daily supplementation, exercise, sauna, good sleep hygiene, positive mental attitude to the future, breathing exercise, meditation, and eat healthily. I hope you and your family are doing the same to fight off this virus attack in the fall and the long winter to come.
