This is particularly useful for needle-phobic patients. I use the Hibiki 7 machine to find the “reactive” points, which will click the most. It is not an electrical shock – the patient doesn’t feel anything but the gentle touch of the probe. Once I find the points, I either use non-insertion pointer or ear needle, or ear seeds (tiny tiny ball which sticks to the skin) for my patients to push every once a while to stimulate the points, or I do ear staple -a needle called ASP (from CANADA) needle which penetrates only 1 mm and stays on the spot. Great for anxiety, pain, before/after dental procedure etc… works so well!
