It is known as Gochujang Sauce. Red sweet and peppery sauce comes with Bibimbap dish. I like the taste of it but it contains malts (100% gluten) so here you go! This is SUPER easy to make. I make a large batch give away and store in the freezer easily 9 months. Here’s alternatives. I use organic sweet miso at the local asian market. Instead of using cane sugar, I use coconuts sugar or monk fruits sugar instead. Adding “mirin” and more “sake” make this sauce sweeter as well.
