My favorite Sauna

No matter what health challenges you are facing, I recommend my patients to detox or you may phrase as cleanse with sweating. I live in Boston means I wear the turtle neck 8 months out of the year. I used to try to get to Bikram hot yoga but often can not make it due to #1. Patient’s scheduling, #2. Snowstorm, #3. Paperwork and consultation call to catch up #4. I need to take my dog to the park and walk, run etc… and the closest hot yoga studio is 30 min. away means I ended up using up 2 hours of my time so that I started searching for the sauna a few years ago. I purchased the near infra-red sauna which supposes to penetrate deeper than far-infrared sauna but I ended up not using much. Reason #1. It takes 45 min. to warm up the sauna means I need to “plan ahead” what I am going to do before and after taking a sauna. This is the big one. #2. The light bulbs are “so bright” even wearing the sunglasses so that I wore the eye mask to protect my eyes. #3. I need to wear a wet towel to protect my head to be heated up. I ended up not using this sauna much. I kept my ears and eyes open for the sauna I might be able to use on the daily basis. I ordered the one infra-red sauna based on how practitioners on the webinar I was attending were promoting. Well, this sauna even did not heat up but remained in the room temperature. I called the customer service and even sent the pictures of the sensor showing 72F for 90 minutes (I took pictures for every 5 minutes) but I was told nothing wrong with the sauna and I might be doing something wrong with the setting. This sauna, made in the mainland China, was very simple setting with on/off switch. You do not need to be an engineer to figure out how to set up and use properly. Since this company refused to pay the returning fee, I ended up spending $130- for FedEx and my credit company contacted this company to get reimbursement. The big lesson learned from there. One day, I was talking with one of my patient who is very into her health said the sauna she and her husband own for the last 8 years warm up within 1 minute I patiently waited to be able to try her sauna one day. It surely warmed up within 1 minute and I felt fantastic after 20 minutes into the sauna by sweating. This is not a wooden sauna but it is called pocket sauna which is not required not take a lot of space. I talked to the owner, Phil, to find out he has Ph.D. in Mathematics and he created the transmitter to emit Infra-red wave. I had a minor tent issue but resolved painlessly. Other than that, I enjoy more than anything these days on a cold day in Boston to get into the sauna for 15 min. get sweat, take a quick shower and ready to go for the day or if I booked up the morning, I jump into the sauna in the early afternoon, listen to the podcast or returning a few emails, make a phone call and done. I have been feeling good lately even though a lot of people have a cold and flu. It could be the 15 min. in this sauna doing something for my immune system up and running to detoxing my body! Anyway, I am happy to say I finally found the one I can use on the daily basis. If anybody has questions about this sauna, please feel free to email me. I am posting a few videos and articles for you to read. If you use even twice per week for the next 10 years. Do the math! Not the expensive. It is a great addition to keep you young and healthy. This is me in the sauna.
