Swollen Eyelid (Stye) & mask wearing for Covid-19 connection

One of my patients is happened to be an optometrist told me the other day about increasing numbers of patients complain about swelling eyelid (stye and chalazion) coming to see the optometrist lately and it believes to be coming from wearing the mask. Constant wearing and taking it off and wearing again will cause the bacterias to get into the gland on the eyelid and acting up as the infection. Waking up with the red and swollen eyelid is the result.

The traditional way to treat Stye and Chalazion is to clean the eyelid by suing OcuSoft wet cloth, put the warm compress 10 minutes x 3 per day, and stay on the antibiotics to kill the staph aura infection.

The unconventional (herbal medicine) way is to make a strong camomile tea by putting 6-8 tea bags into the water and boil for a few minutes and soak the clean small towel in. Cool for a couple of minutes and take the excess liquid out. Apply it over the eyelid for 10 minutes. Adding the microwaved hot eye mask helps to maintain the heat. Try that for 3 x / day. And use a Q-tip to gently swipe the eyelid (must be red and inflamed) colloidal silver liquid a few times per day. Lastly, take extra vitamin A 100K IU per day for a couple of days. It s all up to you but it is worth doing unconventional alternative ways to treat the eyelid problem w/o hurting your gut lining.
