The current model of testing is the swab test that detects the presence of the RNA of the COVID-19. Antibody Test (serum test) shows IgM (Immunoglobulin M) becomes detectable. The typical quarantine time frame of 14 days from day 7 after the exposure to day 21 after the exposure vs IgG (Immunoglobulin G) started to appear 14 days after the exposure and remains in the blood and provides long-term immunity (antibody).
